Angrezi Medium, starring Irrfan, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal released on Friday last week. However, due to coronavirus pandemic, the film got badly affected as people are preventing themselves from stepping outside.
Even the cinema halls in many regions on India are being notified to remain shut till the month-end. Hence, despite receiving good reviews, the film’s box office collection got affected. Angrezi Medium had a good buzz as it was Irrfan’s comeback film after 2 years as he was undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine cancer. Well, those who missed out on watching the film in the theatre, there’s good news for all of you.
Film’s director Homi Adajania shared that this Irrfan starrer will hit the screens again. On his Instagram story, Homi wrote, “At midnight all theatres will close across India till the authorities give us further notice. We will re-release Angrezi Medium when it is safe to do so. Till then stay safe and be kind to each other.”

This is indeed relieving news to those who really wanted to watch the film but were unsure of visiting the cinema hall due to COVID-19 scare.
Meanwhile, Angrezi Medium also has special appearances by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiku Sharda, Ranvir Shorey and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is the second instalment to the 2017 Irrfan and Sama Qamar starrer Hindi Medium.
